Subject: Maybe I'm just REALLY grouchy, but...

I'd like to see these *ideas messages that say basically "Code every little possible situation"
 stopped.
Sea sickness... Hmmm... Think. It would REALLY screw up RP if you suddenly get a message like "Fo
looks a little green around the gills... he staggers over to the side of the boat and, with a wet
"throw up" noise, feeds the local aquatic fauna with predigested goodness."
However... if you wanna ROLEPLAY sea sickness... go right ahead. You can get random dice roller
programs. If you want an att that isn't in the game and would be better RPed, you can roll your
own succeptibility and seasick rolls. And if you roll the wrong thing, I guess you can pose
getting sick all over your cabinmate's shoes.
Point is... why code seasickness when it would be FAR better to just RP it? Why code what happens
when you fall off a cliff, land on an aircushion, and are run over by a herd of albino wildebeasts
when such a thing would never happen? Why code weapon breakage... wait, weapon breakage would be
nice to code. Would make things a bit more realistic. But I digress.
Think about what you're asking to be coded from a RP perspective instead of a "Let's code
everything so I don't have to do any work" perspective.
Thank you. And goodnight.
