plots

A place to send IC related OOC stories. These probably won't be able to be used against or for your character ICLy, this is just to keep track of the plots in progress.

Subject: The Awakening

The three well armed men moved slowly into the dark abandoned keep that sat on the mountain. The
keep seemed to have been abandoned for centuries. There couldn't possibly be anything of value in
this wreck of a place. Just when the men were about to leave one of them caught a glimpse of what
seemed to be a little girl at the top of the stairs. "Hey!" he called out. The men moved up the
 stairs quickly.
At the end of the hall the little girl stood in front of the door to the master's bedroom. The men
moved slowly towards the girl. "Don't worry. We won't hurt you." One said softly. The girl simply
giggled and began to rock herself in place with her hands behind her back. "I know. Lets play!"
She quickly turned and bounce into the room, through the closed door. The men looked at each other
for a moment. Ghosts weren't unheard of, but why here. "Der must be sumtin very special in dat
room boss." The tallest of the men said. The boss didn't seem so sure, but motioned to go into the
 room. "Lets go find out."
As the entered the room they found only darkness. Everything in the room was in shambles, like some
rampaging beast had torn the room a part. The girl giggled and clapped. "Play time!" She quickly
spun and ran to the back of the room, as she did she began to have a purple aura about her and
then she vanished. In the spot where she vanished there stood a large sword with ancient runes
written upon it, it was glowing with purple fire. Behind the sword was a badly decomposed corpse
in a suit of armor. The corpse was covered in cobwebs and had a few spiders crawling about it.
The larger member moved quickly to grab the sword. "Perty. Must be worth a forchun." Just as his
fingers touched the hilt of the sword the corpse sprung to life and grabbed the man. "NOOOOOOO!"
The corpse screamed. The corpse moved quickly and bit the large man in the throat. The man tried
to wiggle free, but the corpse was too strong. The other two men stood watching in horror as there
friend was drained of his life. The corpse dropped the drained body and let out a roar. Flesh and
muscle began to reform on the corpse. Hair began to turn to a pitch black color. When the healing
was done the rejuvenated corpse looked upon the remaining two men with glowing red eyes and a
sinister grin on his face. The sword continued to burn in purple flame.
One of the men ran towards the door, but was stopped as a bolt of lightning struck him in the back,
sending his body convulsing to the floor. The boss fumbled trying to draw his sword out. The
corpse moved slowly and grasped the burning sword engulving himself in its purple flames. He
shoved the sword into the stomach of the boss and fingered something on the hilt. An eye opened on
the hilt and the sword let out what could only be described as a scream of joy. The boss' body
began to shake and glow as his soul was sucked out of him. The corpse grinned and screamed in pure
bliss. The boss' body stopped glowing and slumped to the ground, lifeless. The corpse fell to its
knees and clutched at his head as his own memories and the jumble memories of the boss became one
in his head. "ROSE!!!!!" He screamed. "Where is my beloved?!"
The corpse stood up and stomped towards the remaining man. Grasping the man by the neck he easily
lifted him up and slammed him against the wall. "Where is she?!" Red glowing eyes pierced into the
man's heart. "I-I- dunno!" A wicked grin crossed the corpse's face. "Perhaps you will know after I
tell you who I am? I am Lord Mortius and unless you tell me something of interest right now, I
will feed on you as well." The sword seemed to glow brighter at the sound of Mortius' words. "I'm
just a scout. I find things. I don't know nothing. I was just hired by that guy to find things for
some Lord... Zalbag was his name, I think." He reached into his pocket with shaking hands and
handed Mortius a piece of paper. One that had been posted some time back. "LORD Zalbag?" Mortius
chuckled softly. "I'll have to pay my old friend a visit. I think he needs a reminder of where he
comes from." The man let out a sigh of relief. Lord Mortius grinned. "As for you." He held out his
free hand, in it was a black ring with a skull on it. "Put this on." The man quickly took the ring
and slid it on his finger. He quickly began scream in pain. "You, are mine now. You will be my
eyes and my ears. You will find my precious Rose for me and any word of Zalbag and this spider
goddess. Serve me well and you shall be rewarded. Betray me, and you'll wish that I will kill
you." The demon sword glowed. "She is still hungry." The man quickly ran out the door and Lord
 Mortius laughed.
