Subject:  Diamond and Sapphire 

Rathe looked at over the Peleg inn from his seat. Bounty hunters, thieves, even a few knights sat
 at tables talking in loud drunk voices. He sighed and thought "What a terrible place.....As soon
 as I find the stones im gone.". Thinking back to days in Gaul when he and Rand were both young and
 hotheaded they called themselves "The Dragon's Bane". Not a very good name choice for the heros
 they wished to be, Rathe was called the "Diamond Dragon" for his quick thinking and even quicker
 strikes, and Rand was the "Sapphire Dragon" for his cool manner and his precisioned strikes. With
 a slight smile Rathe thought back at good times when being an orphan and slave didnt matter, only
 having fun and doing the right thing did. But then the good times faded, as good times always do.
 Rand was sold to a noble in Prauge, while Rathe stayed in Gaul. As he looked over the bar now he
 thought once agian the land needed heros, but none were willing to take the position. Perhaps
 Rathe will.
