plots

A place to send IC related OOC stories. These probably won't be able to be used against or for your character ICLy, this is just to keep track of the plots in progress.

Subject: Fate

Rathe sat in the crowded inn, alone as always. As the hour grew later the inn became less crowded
soon all that was left was an old man at the bar and Rathe. As Rathe stood to leave the old man
stopped him "What does your tatoo mean?" Rathe normally would have just kept walking but something
stopped him and he smiled "Alas for I am not entirely sure myself, I know it has something to do
with a order of warriors called Dragoons and I have had it as long as I can remeber.". The old man
smiled and asked in a poliet voice "What does the R stand for?" Rathe smiled and said "It stands
for my name, Rathe." the old man's smile faded "It means something else aswell, it means Dragon
Blade in the ancient speech." Rathe's face grew serious "Who are you? What do you want from me?"
he started to reach for his blade but the old man lifted his tunic sleeve up revealing a tatoo
exactly like Rathe's but instead of an R there was a D. Rathe's hand let go of his sword hilt and
sat down as the man said "I am Dycedarg, I am also like you. I have no family, no friends, no
past, just a name and a tatoo. But I know what it means." Rathe looked in almost awe at the man
"What does it mean?" Dycedarg smiled and replied "Each tatoo signifies a decendent of the ancient
Order of the Dragoon, each decendent has a name of the ancient speech of dragons. Your name Rathe,
means 'spirit of the dragon' my name means 'mind of the dragon'. The dragoons were the sons and
daughters of dragons, half dragons gifted with speed, strength, intellegence all to superior
stages compared to humans. But the dragons had a huge god complex, they thought they gifted
mankind with their children and attempted to rule the humans. The dragoons however were much more
diffrent. Being half human they cared for their human friends and family so they fought the
dragons for over fifty years, the war was dubbed The 50 Year War. After the war was over only 12
dragoons remained, with their deaths near they forged 12 stones of their Zodiac birth symbols and
were given new life and they built the city of Draagonin, yet somehow another dragoon remained
alive yet unknown to the others. He was convinced that dragoons were gods and they should rule
humans, makeing his own Zodiac stone Serpentarius he used it's power to gather a large army to
destroy his brothers and sisters. The city was destroyed but the stones were scattered, no one
knows what happened to the dragoons, the evil dragoon by the name of Maddoc searches for the
 stones to this day.".
Rathe sat dumbstruck "How do you know this?" Dycedarg smiled and pulled a small stone with the
Zodiac symbol 'Capricorn' on it "I was there, it was over 2,000 years ago strange what you can
remeber over that time. I have been looking for you Rathe, waiting for you I should say, waiting
for a long long time." Rathe looked confused "Waiting?" Dycedarg nodded slowly "Yes, I am too old
to carry the stone any longer and to search for the other stones, I need you to take my stone and
search for the others and keep them from Maddoc. My stone wont give you much power because it isnt
your birth symbol, but it will help you find the others." Rathe looked at the stone then at
Dycedarg "What happens if Maddoc gets the stones together?". The old Dragoon looked sad "Then he
would make himself a god, that is his one wish to rule all mankind." Rathe shivered at that
thought "Why cant you go on?" Dycedarg smiled "I am 2,400 years old I cant go on searching anymore
if Maddoc knew where I was he would kill me and take my stone and become more powerfull, now take
it." With that he thrust the stone into Rathe's hand. "You must find the stones Rathe, best of
luck to you young one." When Rathe looked up Dycedarg was gone, putting the stone in the pouch at
his hip Rathe stood, and walked out of the inn to begin the quest of his life.
