Subject:  Revenge...

Jesper broke out in a run from the Inn.  Quickly taking to the skies as he made his way to Fort
 Centrum.  When he arrived, he knew he was too late.  There, stuck on the wall of the fort, was
 Gaia.
She was impaled through the chest, a spear.  The metaled point holding firmly in the stone of the
 fort.  Scrawled above her lifeless body were the words, "You were warned..." written in blood. 
 Jesper dropped to his knees, quicking removing the cloak from his head.  "No...." he muttered,
 after a moment he screamed the same thing at the top of his lungs.
He reached up and pulled the spear from the wall, deftly catching Gaia as she fell.  He set her on
 the ground and then stood, his anger flaring beyond his own beliefs.  
"I...will destroy you......."  He clenched his fists, energy pouring into them as if from nothing. 
 He lowered his head and clenched his eyes tightly shut.  "I WILL DESTROY YOU!!!!!!!"  
Suddenly, it was back.  The feeling he had when he was near death only days ago, had returned.  As
 did the voice, <Maxis... You've done it...>  Maxis looked at a puddle of water near the base
 of the tower, his appearance had changed... greatly.  His anger slowly began to fade as he
 rewrapped the cloak around his head.  Even more so as he bent to lift Gaia's body from the ground.
  Full of grief, and anger, he stumbled towards Peleg.
