Zalbag awoke to angry yells and curses. He grabbed his sword and jumped out of bed, running out of
 his home he saw a large group of villagers holding torches and clubs. A woman stepped forward a
 young child of five or so in her arms he appeared sleeping but no life was in the boys body. "Ye
 killed my son! ye were a deed man! I saw ye die!" she turned to the mob with a wild look on her
 face "He is in allegiance with Lucifer! The devil is in him!" at those words twenty men with clubs
 rushed forward Zalbag cut a good bit of them down but he was overwhelmed being bludgened with
 clubs. The woman yelled "Burn him! Burn him!" the men started to tie him to a stake when a loud
 voice yelled above all others "Enough!" the people turned to see a man in all white, a gleaming
 sword in his hand. Walking forward he cut Zalbag loose and said "Can you walk?" Zalbag looked at
 the man's face "Christof?" Christof nodded "Can you walk?" he asked agian Zalbag nodded "I'll
 bloody well walk out of here!" Christof handed Zalbag his sword "Then God's speed. I will hold off
 the mob. Now go!" with that Christof stepped into the mob they closed round him as Zalbag sped off
 into the night.
