Yes and no. Most of the time I do not see this event happening. There are one or two spells with
which this HAS happened. However, since I am writing this I might as well give my two gold pieces
on the "I do not have this spell so they must not be getting out syndrome." Most of the new spells
are available with it being only a matter of doing this little thing called......"role playing".
As scary as it may seem there is quite a bit of it being done and if you want to be able to find
spells and such the answer is "role playing". While I am on my soapbox I must specify the
difference between roleplaying and "role playing." I define roleplaying as walking up to someone
knocking them out stealing them blind saying, "Oh, I do not like you.," and leaving (or killing
them for that matter). Then there is real role playing which I seperate with quotes because for
many people it is a mythical beast. This involves a serious character with a serious plot. The
character has faults and limitations which other players can "discover" through "role playing."
This is very time consuming and often takes a matter of real life months if not years to
accomplish very well. In the mean time whining about who does or does not get what will not change
anything. Most of those posting about this issue have done so repeatedly and I know that the GMs
are doing what they can to make things fair and thus DO NOT need their message boards spammed by
repeated whining over who has what, or gets or does not get whatever. Not to mention that wizards
do not get every spell in the book and even high level wizards only have a limited number of them.
So expecting to be taught a spell by everyone that has a spell you do not is ridiculous. Get over
it and "role play" already. Thank you for your time and patience and I apologize for this
 incredibly long message.
