Subject: Fireball
This spell concerns me just alittle... well the failuring of it... Might be just rambling here,
but I just cant get my head around why would a mage fail at casting fireball, when they already
can successfully cast it at numerous creatures... wouldn't it be better to have the creature dodge
the fireball and then have a percentage chance of the fireball hitting anything else within the
room (cept the caster), [or would some care to explain it how it fails when casting at something
with a higher dodge/willpower/focus (which ever is used) to make the fireball explode in the
casters face]. Even if there is a freak chance of a spell failing in mid sentence, due to what,
mumbling? being startled, losin concentratioin.. it wouldn't be because of what is presently being
used (the other targets, focus, willpower, dodge (and presumably armor.. though armor may deflect
a fireball, it would cause the failure of a spell so that the caster gets damaged..)
I'd welcome discussion in this subject...
