maybe it could use a different name, but the spell would basically make the person it was cast on
 start hearing voices in their head.  this would cause mild insanity.  maybe the stronger the mage,
 the more insanity it would cause because the voices/delusions would seem more real.  i thought it
 would work well as a duration spell, making the person insane a little bit at a time until the
 spell wears off.
i think it would also be cool to see one deal damage to mobility in this way.  maybe rigor-mortis,
 petrify, or sclerosis or something.  and while i'm at it, i may as well suggest one that deals
 regular damage as well, though i can't seem to think of a name or reasoning behind it.
