Subject: The guild?
When I first became a thief there was this thing called the thieves guild. The idea was sound, but
certain things messed it up. The war with the Timberwolves being the first. They declared all out
war on thieves, so what do we do we run and hide like lil sissy dogs. Hell if a weakling like Lord
Mortius can stand up to them why can't we. We are suppose to be smarter. The second problem was
leadership. Mickey or Erdo is a good guy and would have been a great leader but things like being
a Timberwolf and having more important responsibilities kept him from his office as guild master.
The third thing was unity. There wasn't any at all. Thieves robbed thieves and no one else. The
last problem had to deal with tech issues. We were given the ability to rob a person without them
knowing making it a bit easier for newer members to be thieves, but here is where the problem
lies. The counter to it was perception. Anyone who has tried knows that perception boosts a hell
of alot faster and easier then thievery. Before you knew it everyone had high perception and
thievery became useless unless you robbed newbies or were big enough to handle yourself against
them.
Now what I propose is a new beginning. The simple fact is that there is strength in numbers. The
Wolfpack for example is not one wizard trying to take on the moo. In fact it is a group of thieves
organized with a purpose. "To rob every one not with us and have fun trying. What I want is
something similar but more large scale. I hope there are others amonst you who do as well. I await
any reply or questions. Good robbing to all of you.
